Belle & Sebastian have an album called Storytelling and it's everything I need with regards to music right now. They play pretty much every instrument going and there are the upbeat tracks which really bring colour and smile and seeing the world rushing past through a car window on a hot summer's day kinda feelings, but then there are the meloncholy thinkers which bring you right down to earth and flow like rivers through your ears and your lungs and it's like there's a figure in an empty room in the dark, singing his song. It really is like a book. I even haven't bought the album yet, I'm Spotifying it (which, by the way, is one of the best things that has ever happened to me) Dear Catastrophe Waitress is also on my to-buy list. Chickachickachicka.
Hmmmmmmm so yeah scary things are approaching, like a sneaky black cloud raining onto a somewhat uneasy, humid day. Although the cloud won't necessarily provide the cool relief for which I hope. Metaphor anyone? Yummy.
